Jamie Honour (Owner & lead Personal Trainer) - I have been working in the fitness industry for over 15 years. During this time I have gained vital experience by working with various clients with differing objectives and requirements. My knowledge has not only developed through the qualifications I have gained, but the fact that I practice what I preach. I have personally tried many training methods to achieve different results. As such, I am positive that I can meet the needs of my clients and help them achieve their goals.
I have been a Personal Trainer for 3 years after having changed my career from that of a lawyer to pursue my passion for all things fitness. I have developed my knowledge not only via qualifications, but through working with a variety of coaches to develop and adapt my own style of coaching.
I very much believe in creating a stable foundation in the body from which to work with, by correcting imbalances and improving mobility and stability, while still ensuring my clients hit their goals, whether that be weight loss, improving fitness or building strength.
As well as covering the fitness side of personal training, I also help my clients to understand how to make nutrition simple and to eat according to what their overall goals are, with easy and no-nonsense advice.

My name is Spud and I am a cheerleader for all the clients that come to Honour Health & Fitness. I am very good at jumping, running, playing, grabbing battle ropes and medicine balls.
I’m also very good at encouraging you in your workouts, especially when you do inchworms or bear crawls!
Encouraged by Jamie and my friends, I have set up Urban Green Cuisine to support people with their own journey. I’m no Instagram fitness model, I still have wobbly bits. I want to share the realities, the people and the expertise that has helped me. A focused plan and a consistent approach is key to long term weight loss and improving your fitness. Setting small goals supported by your family and friends around you. This will give you the strength to transform old habits and sustain that change. Using tried and tested practical recipes that can delivered to your door. Offering a 1:1 coaching service in all things food, giving you the confidence to cook your own creations. Putting the fun into veggies! That fits in with your life, take the plunge and contact me, I look forward to hearing from you.
My interest in Sports massage and Soft Tissue Therapy started not from playing sports, as many therapists do, but from playing the violin (which I also teach along with the piano). The violin is in many ways for the human body an uncomfortable and unnatural instrument to play and over the years of learning the instrument and watching others practice and perform, I witnessed many hand, arm, neck and shoulder injuries which were resolved with soft tissue therapy. I started a degree in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation at the University of the West of England but converted a BSc Hons Biomedical Science Degree at the end of the first year as I also had an interest in this field as well. Whilst I studied there I took up rowing and represented the university where I gained my enjoyment for fitness and exercise.
In 2016, I enrolled at the Oxford School of Sports Massage (O.S.S.M) to where I completed a BETEC Level 5 diploma course in Sport massage and Soft Tissue Therapy and therefore now I am a qualified Sports Massage Therapist.
I’ve been a Pilates convert for 15 years. A keen runner and cyclist as well as spending a LOT of time sitting in an office, I found Pilates provided me with the core strength, body awareness and flexibility that massively improved my ability and endurance for my aerobic exercise, as well as relieve any lumbar pain from sitting down all day. I qualified as a Level 3 VTCT Pilates Instructor in August 2015 with a particular interest in mindful movement to improve sporting performance.
