Hip Flexor Mobility Flow
Tight hip flexors are very common especially if you spend a long time seated or inactive. The main problem is the hips shorten as the body adapts to sedentary seated positions, then when it comes to any form of dynamic exercise the hips will feel tight and restricted therefore limiting your range of movement which can lead to compensation through other areas of the body eventually leading to lack of progress or injury. Use the link below to progress your hip extension by loosening your flexors.
Chronic tightness or pain of the hip flexors may be more of a weakness/lack of strength so please refer to our hip flexor activation exercises found in the muscle activation category.
