Thoracic Spine

Hunched over a computer screen or stuck in the car all day means our thoracic spine is in to much flexion which causes poor posture and limited range of movement to our thoracic spine. This will often cause neck, shoulder, upper and lower back pain so we need to make sure we use movements that will encourage thoracic spine extension and rotation.

Foam roller thoracic spine extension
5-10 active reps and hold for 45 seconds
Book openers
5-10 active reps then hold for 30 seconds per side (focus on deep breaths)
